Who: Anyone responding to the fire Where: Second floor landing When: After this
True to her word, Daphne had done as Felix asked, even if all she really wanted to do was get tipsy and topple into bed. She didn't mind helping out a member of Experiment B though, and watch wasn't so bad. She just pretended to be busy and usually sat somewhere comfortably reading a book. After alerting Felix, she'd gone about her 'patrol,' pretending to hear a noise in the lounge. She'd looked out the window for a moment, fidgeted, and finally sighed and headed into Temple's empty room and bathroom. She didn't actually have to go, but she dropped her panties and sat on the toilet to do her business anyway. She didn't come out again until the smoke detectors in the house began going off. She hurriedly dressed and ran out of the room, looking for the source until she hit the landing. Then she played the damsel card for all it was worth and screamed like a helpless girl.
"Fire!" she called. "Fire, fire, fire!" She was just too panicked to think clearly, of course! She'd hate herself for it later. She should have gone to fetch a fire extinguisher at once. She'd feel terrible, really she would. Or at least, everyone would think she would.
