Jack was doing his best not to listen to what the only occupants of the diner were sayin, but just the murmur of their voices, and even the cries from the fake baby set him weirdly at ease. It was hard not to think about Izzy every time he gave some advice, or whenever the doll made a sound, or just noticing the fact that it even existed, but he was managing to keep his issues from the past few days from rearing their ugly heads too far. Cooking was certainly helping with that, and he was singing along to the jukebox as he swept out of the kitchen and through the swinging door, plates and shakes in hand.
"Alright, here you guys go." After setting the plates down he clapped his hands together then rubbed victoriously. "You guys let me know if you need anything else." He pointed a finger a Juno. "You're not allowed to wait on yourself. You chill." He backed up, pointing two fingers at his own eyes, then at her, then repeated the gesture a few times to let her know that he was watching before he went around the counter to make himself an ice cream sundae as a snack. Because he was an adult, dammit, and his wife was nowhere to be seen.
