Who: everyone at the meeting, free for all tagging
When: 2
Where: Dining room
Cecilia waited with Reginald at one end of the very long dining table while people began to drift in and get comfortable. They'd brought another table in to put at the end like they had for all the other meetings, and she was hoping very much that the majority would actually show. She didn't actually expect everyone - with this group, you could never really count on that. But she waited until it was apparent they had everyone they were going to get until she stood and started talking. She didn't waste time or mince words, she simply dove right in.
"There's a lot been going on lately, and I know a couple of people probably have things they'd like to talk about. But there's a very good reason I've asked you all to come down today, and we need to address it. I know a lot of you are probably surprised to see a few familiar faces back, with Reginald, Gemma, and Kai. It's pretty natural that a lot of you are curious about what they went through, and it seems to me that, for the most part, they've been pretty open about answering questions. I sat down with Reginald yesterday and he told me some things that I think are pretty important, and that affect all of us. He's come in to a rare piece of information, and the best way to figure out if it's real or not is to come together and discuss it. He has graciously agreed to sit down today and hash out the whole story for all of you -- and he didn't have to do that. A couple of us volunteered to do it for him, to try and save him any discomfort. But he feels that it's important to tell everyone himself."
She looked around the room and briefly at Reginald before looking back up and going on. "Reginald was here on day one, from the very beginning, and not a ton of us can say that anymore. Less than half of us can, actually. They took Reginald out of the house after only fifteen days, so a lot of you haven't had a chance to get to know him at all. It's natural to be wary or distrustful of anyone in this place, but I believe him. I vouch for him. In the first fifteen days in this place, I came to know him reasonably well, and he's a good man. If my opinion is worth anything to you, I ask that you give him the benefit of the doubt, listen to what he has to say in whole, and then we can all talk about it." Cecilia took her seat again and nodded at Reginald. Here we go.
