They messed with the food. Fantastic. Owen rubbed his forehead and then nodded, giving Juno a small, grateful smile. "Coffee sounds good, yeah." So much for bacon and scrambled eggs. He didn't mind fruit and vegetables. He just preferred some meat on his plate alongside them. Since there were multiple cabinets, including the pantry, Owen walked over to open a couple himself. Sure enough, they were empty.
"There was nothing waiting on the network this morning," he said. "It's usually the first thing I check before comin' out here. I'd like to say that I can't think of anything they'd punish us for, but after the last couple of days..." Owen trailed off and shut the pantry door. "Then again, they let us know when we're being punished. I can't imagine Them passing up a chance to tell us how horrible we've been."
