Who: Juno, Jack & Owen
Where: Kitchen
When: Around 8:50am
Despite having the motivation of a dead sloth since yesterday, and despite having spent most of the previous day with Lennon, even ending up sleeping in his room under the fluffy blanket, Juno had been plagued by enough nightmares of her father and Marco that she had still found herself awake and refusing to go back to sleep. It was just as well; it was about half past eight in the morning, which was a perfect time to head downstairs, have a light snack and some coffee, and then head right to the gym. Working out had always made her feel better after all. Today would truly be a great day for another treadmill endurance test.
Juno didn't bother showering before working out, which meant that she slipped on her tracksuit pants, wrapped her hair into a bun and, wearing her flip flops, walked slowly down the stairs into the kitchen, eyes still cloudy from whatever similar thing to sleep that had been. Standing just inside the kitchen, looking outside through the windows, Juno yawned loudly and stretched her arms above her head and outward.
Before anything else, Juno took a bottle of water out of the fridge in case she forgot it, as she usually did. She did not look into the fridge properly to notice anything amiss, nor did she notice anything when she went to the cupboard for the coffee tin. Juno put a fresh pot on, then went back to the snacks cupboard for the pop-tarts. And found out that there were none. No pop-tarts, no energy bars, no Oreos, no Doritos. In fact, the cupboards were completely empty.
"What." Juno murmured monotonically. Blinking, she brought her hands to her hips and looked back at the fridge before coming up to it again, opening, and finding the thing that had pinged in her head when she had retrieved the water. The usual things that stocked the fridge were no longer there, but instead there were shelves and shelves of fruit. Vegetables in the drawers. She hadn't checked the other fridges, but oh, knowing this place, she knew what to count on. "Oh God it's too early for this shit."
