Who ? Dimitri and Colin Where ? Paris When ?Wednesday afternoon What ? Vacation!
It had been a long and exhausting trip from North Conway, NH to Paris France. First they'd had to drive to New York to catch a flight. Then, of course, they had to sit on the flight, the outrageously long flight. All of that was nothing compared to actually maneuvering through the airport, making their way through customs, and maybe worst of all, the taxi ride to their hotel. Dimitri wasn't concerned with the state of the cabbie's driving but Dimitri may see things differently. There was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic, near misses, lots of horns, and vehicles cutting in front of one another without any regard for oncoming traffic.
Their hotel room was nice, quiet, overlooking a narrow, pedestrian only street lined with shops and restaurants. Dimitri's suitcase lay right by the door where he'd dropped it the moment he could and not have it be in the hallway. After that he'd flopped onto his back on the bed, the one large bed, and stretched his arms out, eyes closed. "That was grueling." He murmured, listening to the sounds and breathing in the smells that filtered in through their open window.
