Thread: Colin & Dimitri Who: Colin Wright and Dimitri Renaud. When: March 3. Afternoon. After 2:30pm! Where: School; Staff Room. What: Conversation about students and not getting distracted.
At two-thirty, Colin's English 12 class let out, which had him finished for the day - at least as far as teaching went. A teacher's work was never done when the bell rang though (not that Zener had bells, except the morning one). There was marking and lesson plans and what not, but those could wait.
First thing he needed? Coffee.
After talking with a student who stayed back to ask questions about an assignment, Colin locked up his classroom, and headed down to the staff room. When he let himself in, he found that there was no coffee brewing, so he set some up himself. There was always a search for coffee during that time when classes got out or were just starting, so he set the percolator going, pulled his usual mug out of the cupboard, and then sat down at the table.
There were several newspaper scattered on the table and Colin took one, dragging it towards himself. He flipped open to the business section first, as he always liked to take a glance. Once upon a time he had thought he'd have a life in business. But he'd found his real calling. As the coffee started to drip, he flipped through the section, scanning articles.
