greetings! Hello, all! I'm Deb, and I'm new here *waves enthusiastically* with Jackson Pruitt, a junior and a music major.
A little about me... I'm *mumbles*40 and I live in upstate NY outside of Albany (where we are cold, wet, snowy and icy today). I have two kidlets and I'm a systems administrator and I'm a writer and I'm a weeeee bit addicted to the internet and to gaming and to music. Just a bit. I can be found just about anywhere online under my usual handle of tryslora (this includes LJ, IJ, Facebook, AIM, Gmail/Gtalk, Flickr, etc. etc.) and I'm a fairly open person: you friend me wherever, I'm likely to friend you back.
Jackson's based off of TAI's "The Phrase that Pays", taken quite literally: he's looked mortality in the eye and he's refusing to miss a moment of his life since. While he doesn't talk about why he missed time, it's obvious he lost a year of school somewhere since he's just turned 18 and is a junior. He's a self-taught musician, playing pretty much anything by ear that he can lay his hands on, except for drums. He wants to get a band together (and especially wants to hook up with a drummer).
Since he's known everyone else for the last couple of years already, I'm up for any backstory anyone would like to paint in. He's reserved sometimes, but could use some close friends he can be honest with. Having scanned other profiles, I'm not sure if there's much up for him romantically yet (he leans strongly towards the gay side of bisexual). He's also physically active (can't dance, but he loves basketball) so if anyone wants to shoot with him (he rather hopes there's a hoop SOMEWHERE even outside that he can use when the weather's good) he's good for that. He likes to keep active and in shape, again, kinda driven.
And I babble, btw, as you can see. His
information is here and if you'd like to talk about plot, backstory, whatever, either email (I'm on gmail, and yes, tryslora again!) or ping me on IM (AIM's best, gtalk's second best). If it's work hours it might be hit or miss, but I'm always on in the evenings until around 11 or 12 eastern time unless life interrupts (which it does sometimes).
Nice t'meetcha!
