Youka Nitta
[Modly] Rules/Announcement, Drabble Challenge
3rd-Aug-2008 12:11 pm
- Not that there are many... just for later convenience.

We have decided to issue a weekly drabble challenge. A topic/prompt will be posted on Wednesdays.

- Drabbles have to be 100 words, no more, no less.
- Post with or without cut - NC-17 must be under cut.
- Drabbles can of course cover all Youka Nitta-sensei's works.
- Drabbles inspired by a prompt can be posted any time after the deadline.
- Please, tag with author: name, type: drabble, character: name, manga: abbreviation (post on abbreviations later...)

We might add to this at a later date. There's a link to this post in the sidebar.

This is all a very lovely idea but
*whoosh*
That's the sound of the concept, culture and even the damn spellings going right over my head.
Sorry.

Got to go on with the reading, then, eh? You can do drabbles! And we're going to have meta and discussions of exactly those problems: beginning to write in a new fandom with so vastly different language, culture and background than HP. Rest assured, you'll be able to porn with us before long.

Also, research's fun. If you have £15 you have no idea what to do with, I can recommend Marius Jansen's "The Making of Modern Japan". It's cheap, well written and gives a lot of info. And 15£ for 900 pages is a bargain! Get you to Waterstone's, woman!

Reading? Research??
What are these new-fangled concepts? I know them not.

Just tried to tag - could you add "author: bronze_ribbons" when you get a moment? Thanks!

Eh, ignore this comment, please - I see you're still in progress. (No caffeine yet, about to head to church; synapses not all firing yet.)
