Hah, since none of them has a computer, it seems, and Iwaki had to be more or less forced to use a mobile, they might not need them *grins*
Again, interesting... I can add to it, that emotion... such as the heart and head is also perceived differently. "Haato" (heartshape) is the western Valentine thingie. Kokoro is sort of heart/spirit/soul, that has it base where the physical heart is. And the mind (I have no idea what it's called) is sort of the brain/thought seated where the physical brain is.
It is indeed interesting how differently we see emotions and their attachment to certain parts of the physique.

Ah, but we see at least one text msg from Katou to Iwaki at the start of ch45 (and I think he mentions others in one of the interviews, but I'm not going to look that up right now).
Good to know that there's a significant heart-head difference. I wonder when the Valentine thingie started appearing in Japanese print culture, and to what degree it's actually present? (e.g., I've noticed it appearing in some of Katou's dialogue balloons...) Aaah, yet another thing to ponder....
I am just a stupid Dane
*snorts and swats at the sheer ludicrousness of this statement*
</i>so I do as the Japanese ukes and ask someone else to take responsibility</i>
*snorts some more, goes back to the stuff I signed on to look up more than an hour ago, ack!*
I think that Katou and Iwaki might use their mobiles like most Japanese seem to use them: the main source for emails/messages so a laptop isn't needed.
Iwaki does manage to send pics via texts so he *can* use it, but it took Katou to buy a phone for him before he agreed to get one. It is not that he won't use the phone, somehow I just can't see Iwaki type little fangirlish emoticons into the messages.
*snuggles and runs away to look at Carlo and Magira*
Japanese don't really write text messages, they email (using internet with the phone is fast and cheap) so they usually change email addresses for that, not necessarily the phone number at all.
