SUMMARY Dinner and getting to know each other for realz
STATUS Complete
Shuro had hurried home a bit so he could do his pre-clean up clean up. He washed his hands, changed out of his work clothes into a more causal suit, washed his hands, and got to cooking. He had forgotten to ask Lovisa if she had any allergies, she hadn’t mentioned anything over those two weeks, and surely that would not be something that would change with personality. Well, if she did, he could cook her something else. He found the best solution to getting around foods people just didn’t like to eat was to not tell them what was in it. Though sometimes the name of the dish did that for itself. Well, only people that haven’t had the right kind of squash didn’t like it.
He was sort of excited, as he went about cleaning up the squash seeds and disposing of them properly before cutting it into chunks. He did not think he was excited to see Lovisa out of an affection that may have grown over those two weeks, though she had been a very welcome addition, Shuro did not want to imagine having done that without her, but he was excited on a more intellectual level. He was curious. They had remained themselves for such a short period of time before becoming characters in the book, that he was excited to find out who she really was. He still maintained a mental connection that she was a doctor, but he did not think she really was. Shuro did not often have a chance to meet the same person for the first time twice.
The record should also be set straight on his part. If he still thought of her as being a doctor, she may still think of him as being a Navy SEAL, which really could not have been farther than the truth. Shuro did not even like to swim, let alone have been in the Navy, let alone be a SEAL. That image of him may have been more impressive, and perhaps some men would have enjoyed her keeping that impression of him, but Shuro was not that sort of man. He wanted to know who she really was, and he wanted her to know who he really was.
