It took a little longer to get home than I had expected, but I am back. I'm sorry for the interruption to the beginning of the school year.

I'm going to be indisposed for the next week or so. I've adjusted my syllabi to reflect the lost week. Of course, most of the time, students don't get any hard assignments on the first week so I doubt they'll be too disappointed. My advanced classes weren't set to begin until the third week of September anyway so there won't be much missed.

I'm going to be off campus. Please send me an email if you have any questions or need to give me any information. I'll be back by next Sunday.

I think we could all use a break after a week of screaming teenagers. I'm hosting a live music night at M.A.D. this coming Saturday. No cover charge. It's always nice to be around your own in a different setting.

Right. So we could stand to work on the whole "trying to find things" bit. That bit with the statue was not my fault. We've still got the lead. This last day shouldn't be hard.

I'd like to congratulate Mr. Cassidy and the quick lead that his team took in the events yesterday. Hopefully, today will be just as eventful.

It's been brought to my attention that there's this... thing a series of sporting events going on this week on campus. To put it bluntly, I am expected to participate as a coordinator and cheerleader and so now you are expected to participate as well.

You might even have a good time so, please, just play nice. Oh, and only cheat if you're sure you won't get caught, Julian. Otherwise, we have to penalize you.

It was brought to my attention that you might be the person to talk to if I wanted to start learning some self-defense tactics. With the recent rise of issues close to home, I'm very interested in making sure that I'm better prepared if something did happen when I was around.

Plus, I heard you throw a mean punch.

I've heard that my arrival came just to late for certain festivities. Ah, well, I hope you all enjoyed your prom.

I caught a couple of good fish and the weather wasn't bad.

I hear you're the yoga master. Apparently, I've put on the dreaded "Freshman Fifteen" during my tenure here and I was wondering what would be the best way for me to take some of that off? Do you do private lessons? It might be hard to fit your current schedule into mine.

Also, where does a girl go to get some self-defense training around here? I feel like I should be looking into this more considering what has been going on lately. It worries me.
