"We're on an island, if you stay out til morning, you're going to get wet." she answered with a shrug. Either the morning fog, or the dew or something was going to get you wet before daylight had fully settled. It was just the way of things. "I don't think I'd want to lay on the ground outside all night anyway, maybe just a few hours. I'd get cold otherwise." She liked the idea of doing it better in her room, with her private sky.
"Mmhmm, I'm ready." she smiled, tucking Lockheed underneath her own arm. "I don't think I'm going to be able to eat a whole funnel cake by myself though. We might have to share." she said with a smile. She might even let him pay for just a funnel cake or elephant ear, whichever he preferred. The girl wove her way towards the vendor and then to the costume contest. She checked the schedule for the hay rides and smiled, they had two more to go, one last one after the show. They could catch that one, she thought. It'd be good too, people giving it one last hurrah to scare before the night was over.
