Who Open to All What Halloween Festivities. When All Weekend Yay!
The campus had been transformed this weekend for the kids attending the two schools. There was a haunted hay ride that went through the forest, with professional halloween actors brought in to set up the trail. There were stands selling everything from caramel apples to sausage dogs to tee shirts. Dancing was being offered in the collegiate ballroom and in the high school ballroom, depending on age.
One could even trick or treat. There were stations set up at each of the vendors and stands for getting free candy, but one must be in costume. A live band was playing halloween favorites in the quad, everything from Monster Mash to Concrete Blonde's Bloodletting so that both high school and college could mingle and dance outside since the weather was a balmy 68 degrees with a clear nearly full moon in the sky.
There were contests, things like a super strength punkin chunkin contest out on the beach, the pumpkin carving competition, competitions for best costume, best couples costume and funniest costume.
