"Not this! These are my Pajamas." she huffed and then waved the tee shirt he'd handed her at him. "This! I'm not wearing this!" Sarah tossed the shirt onto the arm of her couch and turned, putting her hands on her hips. "And what do you mean, bet my ass I'm not wearing this? Who are you to say what I wear and don't wear?" but he was already trying to fix it and she just arced a brow at him. Alright, fair enough, he was being protective, she bought it. "Don't worry, Jamie, I'm not the type to go outside dressed like a tart, and you wouldn't have to beat down any wolves anyway. Though.. thanks for the ego boost, that's.. sweet." in a way. She sighed and ran a hand through her messy hair.
Sarah hadn't told him about that weird.. awkwardness, but she had been avoiding him because of it well after she'd tried to nurse him back to health. Maybe he was old enough to know a crush when he saw it, even if she was in denial and trying her damndest to pretend it didn't exist until it went away. She didn't think Jamie was a wash-out or anything like that, but she did know that he didn't think of her like that, and that he thought she was far too young for him. She knew all that, her mind was an infinitely logical thing, most of the time.
That Jamie didn't start lecturing her on dropping out was a relief though and she relaxed slightly. "Then stay here and hide out with me. We can watch cheesy old zombie movies or.. that's not even got a chance of flying does it?" she sighed and shook her head. "You better not be lying to me, Jamie. If you ditch me and try to make me hang out with 'kids my own age' I swear I'll unblock JJ's IP. " .. it was the worst threat she could think of at the moment.
"If I'm going, you're wearing a costume. So you have two choices. Doctor or Pharaoh."
