Kitty could 'feel' his eyes on her sometimes, rather than making her think he was skeezy like the carnies though it just made her blush a little more. He may be trying very hard to be good, but those brief moments of him not being good, while protecting her from other gazes, were surprisingly nice. It warmed her skin, made her heart beat a little faster. That was definitely not a 'little sister' look he'd been giving her, and she was relieved. Truth was, she was developing something of a crush, it would have been pretty disappointing to find out he thought of her as a kid sister.
She took the dragon with outstretched grabby hands and cuddled it against her chest. It was gorgeous, with bits of silver trim here and there to give it some shimmer. "I think I'm going to name him Lockheed." she said and started to smooth down the acrylic fur with her fingers. She was glad that he seemed pleased with his tiger too. It had been a tough choice between that one and a big brown bear, but she thought Piotr was more like a tiger, big but cunning, controlled.
"Yeah, the diner probably is overpacked and it's nice out here." she opened her bag and checked her cell phone. It's five til seven. We've got half an hour until the costume contest.. That's enough time to grab a burger and some fries and find a seat to watch, right?"
