"Yeah yeah yeah." Pete replied to Kitty, though he laughed, and probably would have blushed if the metal had allowed. This was one of the few times he was okay with making a spectacle of himself, and really, it was sort of his fault for hanging around the area in the first place. The rest he could probably blame on Professor Green. He tossed the man a look as he continued to sputter, then leaned down to grab the pumpkin Kitty had picked out.
He used two hands, not wanting to crush the thing before he tossed it, then made his way down the beach a little, ignoring the crowd that had gathered a short distance behind him. It seemed like a waste of a pumpkin, but at least it was light enough out that people would be able to get a good idea of how far it was going. He took a step back, and twisted in a circle, gaining momentum before he released the giant orange ball out over the water. Unsurprisingly, it went far, and Pete folded his arms over his chest as he reverted back to flesh form, trying to calculate the distance. It was hard, especially after it got to the point where it was so far it was hard to see, but there was eventually a splash, even though he couldn't hear it.
