"I'm going, I'm going!" The big guy glanced up at the teacher, grinning and swiping a hand lightly at the sword, if at least to get him to stop smacking him with it.
"Looks cute on you." 'Cute' was sort of the wrong word, Pete was trying not to pay too much attention to those pretty legs now that Kitty was in closer proximity, unfastening the sword from his waist and handing it to out to her. "Hold onto this for me?" He could have left it on the hay bale, but with so many younger students hanging around he didn't want them to get any ideas.
Turning metal was a tricky business, but most of his costume was likely to survive the transition. The pants were stretchy enough and his head didn't get too much bigger. The only thing he questioned was the shirt. While it was billowy at the ends of the sleeves and toward the bottom, and fairly open at the collar, the hem around his shoulders was quite a bit closer, and would likely shred the instant he changed. He shrugged it off, despite the few shrill, teasing wolf whistles that came from the crowd, though he turned and laughed. "Do you want me to do this or not?" The chorus of hoots and claps that came after made him shake his head, tugging off the shirt, handing that to Kitty also as he made the transition to metal. "Would you like to pick out the pumpkin?"
