Hello. My name is Rei and I am bring in the lovely Lorna Dane aka Polaris. Quick history, she has been at the school for about ten years after her powers fully manifested. She has no memory of her life before the age of 7 and was adopted by her foster parents who claim they are her aunt and uncle. She just graduated with her degree in Geology and is thinking about becoming a professor at the school until she realizes what she actually wants to do. She is friendly and approachable and totally want throw metal objects at people.

Almost forgot to introduce him!

This is Lex with character #3 - Gabriel Summers, aka Vulcan. Fortunately for everyone, Gabriel is not an Omega yet, nor is he a villain because there was no Krakoa and Professor Xavier making people forget that he and his dead teammates ever existed.

What I have kept was his awful past being a slave for the Shi'ar. That he currently doesn't remember. He escaped from their facility on Earth after an explosion and absorbing energy from said explosion. He'll be arriving on the shores of New York with only the tattered clothing on his back and a book on Roman mythology that he'll be clutching like his life depends on it. He'll also be a total amnesiac for a while. He'll remember facts that he's learned, but not where he learned them. The only thing he'll know about himself is that his name is Gabriel.

Even after he recovers his memories (which have been repressed largely due to trauma), he never did learn that he has brothers who are alive. I would love to see Scott and Alex Summers in game.

Gabriel is 18 years old. He's got a lot of anger issues, but doesn't know the source of his grief. So...yeah, the kid's a mess. His powers, for those unfamiliar with him, are energy absorption, generation and manipulation. He can use these in a variety of ways, but he's just learning for now.

Looking for all the plots with him. In particular, I'd like a couple of X-men volunteers to come and find the poor amnesiac kid.

I'm bringing along Gambit, who is pre-X-Men, bringing him in from right before he meets up with kid!Storm. So he's young enough (20) to be a pain in the ass but old enough that he feels like a proper adult.

I'm finally getting this in now, because well, two for one.

Firstly; this is Carol Danvers. Say hi. Carol is currently moving into the X-Men's lovely mansion to help out, because her life is shit and she hates it so ... change of scenery. She's been blasted with Kree radiation that gifts her with all of Captain Marvel's powers, and Mar-vell is a touchy subject with her right now. As it is, Carol's been at the center of a few anti-mutant hate groups and she's licking her wounds. I'm open to any storylines with her, she needs things to do to keep her self-loathing down please.

Secondly; this is Ben (augment), and after the departure of White Noise, the dear Lottie and I shuffled things a little and Ben is taking the place in Gamble's storyline as husband. (just go with it please). Ben is a NYPD Homicide detective and has the power to augment new compounds from different items -he merges things to make new things. It's a thing. He's pretty stoic and down to earth, has a fuzzy side but it's kinda hidden and loves kids.

Again, open to storylines, connections, anything really.

He has the power of organic decay, and as such has become quite anti-social out of fear of accidentally killing anyone like he did with his father. He is just coming to the mansion, and it would be awesome if he could have friends because he hasn't had any in a long time. It won't be easy, though, because he does have a habit of pushing people away to keep them safe *facepalm*

Greetings, I am Natalie, or Nat, I live in Paris (oh la la~) and this is this is the younger of the McClanahan siblings.

Moira is a medic, a redhead (fiery temper, but nice enough), of neutral alignment (much like she wishes Micah was) and has the power of anatomical intuition and medical intuition; it means she can diagnose injuries and ailments with a touch and knows how best to treat them in her current environment with a look. It's decidedly helpful for her chosen profession.

Right now, she's working for a clinic in New York that specialises in the care of those injured in anti-mutant attacks, being that Moira has just gotten out of her humanitarian work overseas in Iraq and in Belfast before that.

Moira will be in talks with Emma Frost about setting up her own mutant friendly hospital/medical centre with funding. But I'm open to more plots and plans!

Hi all!

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I'm changing Regan's PB. While I love Penelope Mitchell, I am an icon whore and she just doesn't have enough icons for me. So I'm switching over to Dianna Agron whom I think will portray Regan very well, and she has tons of icons :D So you'll be seeing the change soon as I gather icons and make new photos for her profile page.

Hey! It's Ashley again with my second. You might've heard of her, idk. She thinks she's pretty hot shit, but that's no surprise.

After tallying the votes, I was in a dead tie between Sienna and Scarlett. I almost defaulted to my usual Sienne until I saw the trailer for Lucy. Which I totally forgot about. Selfishly, I really wanna icon it ASAP. (Plus I just watched Under the Skin, which was crazy intense. Like srsly.) So! I may switch if it doesn't gel, but for now I'm giving Scarlett a try. Hopefully she's better without the red hair and black catsuit!

Anywho, most of you should know Emma by reputation. Here's a quick link to her bio. She's not a hero at this point, so expect her to be up to some pretty evil shenanigans. This version of Emma is the recent heiress to Frost Enterprises, and she's also firmly entrenched in the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle. She'd naturally love other Inner Circle types, like Selene and Shaw and Sage. (That's a lot of S-names. Emma feels left out, frankly.)

She's aware of the X-Men, I think? And the Brotherhood, if they've had some publicity, too. So she's wavering on the fence there, and willing to play both sides as long as it suits her needs. So she's readily available for plots and random encounters!

Hey guys!

JJ here, again.

This is Eileen Harsaw, but you'll never know that from her since she'll introduce herself as Quinn Warren/Quinn Riley or a variety of other names she has. She is also a hired mercenary, and happens to be bffl (best friend for life?) with Temple.

Eileen's official codename from canon is Phantazia, but I've also gone ahead and added the codename Disrupt. She has the ability to sense, manipulate, and disrupt various fields and wavelengths of electromagnetic energy. She can also sense the bio-electric fields in humans and mutants and use it to either paralyze or cause pain to humans, where as with mutants it will cause their ability to short-circuit. The ability is something she has control over, so walking by a tv won't automatically make it go on the fritz.

For a mercenary she's really down to earth, and fun to be around. She's with the Brotherhood because she's got a debt to pay to Magneto for saving her and her family, and that's about as far as that goes. She doesn't get personal with the mutant rights thing or anything - she thinks putting personal feelings into anything like that (or in her job) clouds judgment.

Sup bbs. I'm Ashley, a new addition to your cozy community! A wee bit about me before I plunge into the proper character intro. I'm a chick, I've been into Marvel comics for 20 years. I dabble in DC, Vertigo, and a little Dark Horse, but nothing compares to Marvel. I've got a whole bookcase of TPBs and resource material, so I go a little hardcore sometimes. I've also been RPing for... gosh, officially 15 years this summer. I started on MUD/MUSH/MUCKs, then graduated first to LiveJournal and then to GreatestJournal. I still miss GJ. I sometimes wax sorrow over it.

To start, I'm testing the water with Laura Kinney, which might be something of a challenge because I'm nothing like her OOC, I promise you. I'm bubbly and friendly and adore yammering on and on about plot, lines, and HBO shows. And Laura is... well, Laura.

Much of the in-depth stuff can be found in her flashy new file. But she's basically one big hot mess. I try to downplay some of the more eyeroll-worthy aspects of her Quesada origin story, but I do value them as part of her characterization. I just don't want to shove them in everyone's face, and neither does Laura. So I promise you folks that she won't be going on and on about being a former prostitute, for example! Since Laura is very matter-of-fact and very internalized, this shouldn't be too hard. She likes to keep her shit to herself. She doesn't open up easily, even though she's desperately craving a little human connection after setting the Facility ablaze.

She does know about her "daddy". I don't think they've had time to sit down and have tea though, so that'll be fun. She's a recent addition to Xavier's in-game, after a hairy situation in NYC sorta implicated Wolverine in the murder of a bunch of thugs. So I guess when the X-Men came through to investigate, they managed to convince Laura to return with them? Idk, that's the vague idea but I don't want to step on any toes.

Tl;dr -- Laura is a hot mess. She struggles with her self-image. She hates herself a lot of the time. She battles her living weapon programming, because a part of her just wants to feel human and normal and blahblahblah. She's paranoid, defensive, somewhat cold, but prone to mood swings and flashes of animal-like behavior.

I would adore anything for her. People who can't stand her, people who want to reach out to her. Be warned, though, she'll likely be very difficult to befriend at first because she can come off as an emotionless bitch sometimes. She has yet to encounter a "crush", so there's that. (Especially if anyone wants to pick up Julian Keller, but I'm flexible.) She has "family" to meet, including Logan and Daken. So, anything! You can dropbox me, or I can set up AIM again. If this community is AIM-heavy, I have no problem signing on. Just lemme know!

Unfortunately, I have to work the day after July 4th. So I'm hungover and stuff, but I'll be off for two days after tonight.
