The day was sunny and still comfortable for such a bright autumn season. Jason had gotten up early to finish a book and write a few paragraphs in his journal, keeping a record of things he didn't talk about with anyone. Specific thoughts would always be kept to himself, things he never felt like saying to anyone, things that didn't need to be repeated. Some of it was about Laurie as he started sorting the disappointment that was building within him about that specific situation. Some of it was about the current conditions of the living quarters he had managed to carve out for himself. And some of it was just theory, concepts he considered at any given point in the day. He had been writing and reading for a good few hours before he had been interrupted by the man who had basically saved his life not too long ago.
Magneto didn't ask for things. He suggested them. It was his way of being direct, of being pointed, and of being a leader. If people wanted to follow orders, then things went smoothly. If not, well, the whole group would be forced to change their course and locate another way of settling in. Between that and the desire to prove himself, Jason found himself climbing out of the BH bunker and wandering out into the woods where he had been told someone new had made a sort of nest for themselves out of twigs.
Wyngarde wasn't really expecting a whole lot when he entered the slight clearing holding the younger male. He hadn't been expecting anything specific, but what he found was still a shock. The creature was more animal than person, more feral than human. Clearly, his genes were of a very different sort than the ones that made Jason who and what he was. However, to Magneto this obviously held no sway; a mutant was still a brother no matter what they looked like. The illusionist sighed silently, deciding that he might as well get on with it.
The jumbled sounds of a man clearing his throat was uttered as to get the boys attention. The more Jason looked on, the more he was sure that it was indeed somewhat humanoid underneath all that fur. "I believe you're in need of instruction..." It wasn't directly a question.[ Open]
