Luckily, the computer seems to be running faster (most of the time). I just wanted to put myself on hiatus just in case this Trojan ends up tearing this thing apart. I had one a while back on my old laptop and it killed it, eventually. As in it worked for a while, then one day it just died. Out of the blue. It was crazy.
I did identify the Trojan, though; it's called "Virtumonde" or something. I'm just having a really hard time getting a lock on it. Spybot is the only program that is picking it up, which I find a little strange. I've run like three different anti-virus programs and I got nothing. I even downloaded "VondoFix," which was designed especially for the Virtumonde problem. But, again, it didn't pick up ANYTHING. I'm on the verge of tearing my hair out here. Lol.
Anyway I'll be working on this until it's fixed, which could take anywhere from any-second-now to who-knows-when. I'm currently re-running Spybot and hopefully I'll be able to remove it this way. If not, back to the drawing board, I guess. xD
