"I've smelled plenty of blood on him. Hell, it's strong enough that you should smell it on him." Logan almost smirked here after thinking 'human blood must be hard to get out of fur'. Someone else lurking around who had a smell like Hank's (less blood, more humans) was Emma. However, Logan intended to leave that part out, verbally. He knew the women weren't fans of each other and was in no mood to have to kill one of them - again. He had a feeling that if push came to shove, things would go sudden death between the Phoenix and Diamond.
Ironically, Jean's thoughts seemed to be traveling the same course - cue the awkward silence. 'Ever since...' Yeah, he knew. People were weird around her. Himself included.
Still, Jean's concurrence finally did make him smirk. Having Jean on your side was never a bad thing, eh? Though, by the time she'd finished speaking, he was a bit frustrated again. 'Get to the bottom of this' usually meant 'ask the Professor'. Well, Logan knew the man had to have some secrets in his desk drawers or behind the panels of Cerebro. Something didn't jive right between the Professor and his troupe of brainiacs. And Logan wanted to know what they were up to. "I'd go to the source."
