Who: Blindfold
When: Evening, Monday 25th
Where: Ruth's Room
What: Ruth got the short end of the stick in the fight with Sabertooth, but she's not going to die which is why she's back in her room resting.
It was hard to tell when Ruth was awake if she wasn't doing anything. Her eyes weren't open, she didn't have eyes to open. Her face just remained that sort of placid look she always had. As long as she wasn't talking, she looked like she might be asleep. Truthfully, Ruth was awake, a little fuzzy thanks to the pain medication, but awake.
Her plan, if one could call it that, had not been a good one. Quick, dirty, useful but still bad. Next time, she really ought to think about things a little further. The truth was, in the end, it worked. Warren was, if she had been listening accurately, still alive. Therefore, things were as they should be. He was alive. The whole point of this exercise.
Her body felt funny, probably because of the bandages wrapping around her torso. Even if she couldn't feel pain, the pressure was still there and it made breathing feel wrong.
Somehow, she had a feeling both Erik and Charles were probably going to want to have a nice stern talking to her about her spur of the moment choice of things to do. She was probably two seconds away from getting killed herself. Not exactly a good trade. However, for now, she just wanted to go back to sleep and ignore how funny the act of breathing felt.
