Pouring his drink, she was more then willing to just let him keep that damn card. Why would she want it anyway? One card in a whole deck? Let alone how little it held significance to her? The queen of hearts? That was laughable. If she couldn't touch a man who in the whole world was she going to hold one's heart? Of course, when he actually showed her the king of hearts, she wanted to laugh, but wasn't about to give him the satisfaction, no matter how attractive he was. Putting the bottle of scotch back, Rogue just rolled her eyes. "Smooth cajun. Very smooth." It was no surprise that she was being hit on in a bar. The way he went about it was at least original. That much she could give him.
Feigning indifference, she gave him a quizzical look, even though she definitely didn't mind him thinking whatever he was with that look. "I don't know that they did. You must have me mistaken with some other gal in this place sugar. I mean I'm sure you could make a lot of girls smile." She practically challenged him. But she held the surprised look from her face when he pulled out his wad of money. Now he was really lost on where his game was leading.
Placing her hand on her hip, she gave him a strange look. "You trying to pay me for my name now?" Rogue joked. "Cause all your gonna get for your troubles is one short answer." She was no dancer and sure, she might give up her name, or at least the one she had been giving out since she ran from home, but she was all the more curious as to just what he was up to now. "I'm not quite so easy. There's a reason I tend to the bar." And the best reasoning behind that is one touch and he would be heap on the floor.
