Team 2: Jamie, Ruth, Betsy
Dr. Nathaniel Essex was already in the building. In fact, he'd used his old credentials to get in. Why? It just confused things all the further. After all, it was the information from his apartment which had led his fellow Brotherhood members into the trap he knew well to be waiting. Now, if someone did some checking into the electronic visitor logs for the hospital, they would find his name clearly listed as having checked in during the morning, though his log out time would go unrecorded. He hadn't bothered to dummy up older records. After all, he wanted it to appear to be an anomaly, a slip-up, possibly a moment of being rushed which caused him to actually register in the system since he was supposed to after all be dead.
Once again, he wore his old face. Not the powder white version, but the fleshly pink. He wanted to be registered on the security cameras. He wanted evidence. It would make it much easier for Moreau to avoid questions, since it was obvious Essex was indeed involved in the goings on, but how or why was still a bit of a mystery.
The telepath call of "HERE!" got his attention, but really only because he knew that particular room held a woman who had been on and off catatonic since the beginning of her stay, though a good deal of that was medicinally induced. Reading medical charts and minds was simple to him. Far too simple really. Just like he knew there were a total of eight people in the hospital who did not belong, three of which shared identical mental signatures, but not thought patterns, two telepaths no where near his own strength or caliber currently, a former Black Air operative (now what exactly was he doing on this side of the pond really?), a feral, and a former circus performer. What an eclectic bunch. However, they were not as much of interest to him as the screamer, darling Miss Grey. He would be making her acquaintance quite soon.
The choice to stay in an empty room until they reached Jean was one made calculatedly. Even if someone opened the door, they wouldn't see him. Being able to make himself invisible was really quite an useful skill. Now he waited. Just waiting to see what would occur.
OOC: Ignore for right now, just posting him in for when he does make his appearance.
