Re: Team 1: Pete, Kurt & Gibs
At first Scott he was hearing the guards moving around outside coming back in to get him, so he pushed the coil back into the bed and scooted away from it, towards what should be the middle of the room. But when he heard the alarms go off, he did not know what to think. It's not like someone would be trying to save him or something. Maybe there was someone else pulling some escape. Good for them. Maybe he might be able to use that if it were the guards that came in to get him. But then where did that leave that strange noise he heard as the door opened. Scott couldn't see, but he could hear more then well enough and it only served to paint him a mental picture.
As the man explained himself though, Scott heard the footsteps clear as day. He had a good idea as to how close they were, and even as glad as he was to have someone help him escape, he wasn't quite sure what to think. Why not let him take the bandages off? He could keep his eyes closed. "Not really and no," Scott replied just as the bandages fell to the floor, allowing Scott to quickly move up onto his feet.
Scott knew that there were two guards in front of the door before they had a chance to call out for them to freeze or don't move. He didn't hesitate, not even for a second, opening his eyes and blasting them into the wall across from his cell, knocking them out cold. Closing his eyes just as quickly as he had opened them, he knew there were at least a few more of them behind those two, as he could hear their footsteps as well as their shouts about their fallen co-workers. For the first time, well, in a long time, Scott actually cracked a smile before turning towards where the man was that helped him out, his eyes still closed. "So, you play hero much? Your entrance needs work."
