Re: Team 1: Pete, Kurt & Gibs
There was a little part of Kurt that wanted to ask if letting the wild man out of his restraints was a good idea or not, but he clamped down on it, not allowing himself such thoughts. They were all mutants, just because this man was a little more like one of God's wild creatures did not mean he should judge him so harshly, he reminded himself. A moment later he was very glad he had not spoken, for it became clear just how ineffective the jacket had been. "Well then..." Kurt whispered trying to not look uncomfortable and mostly succeeding.
He nodded at Pete, readying himself to follow the tracker. He allowed Pete to take up the second position and Kurt brought up the rear, keeping a cautious eye behind them, just in case. His face was turned away when the feral encountered a guard, the sickening crack of a shattering nose caused Kurt to whip his head back around. He paled slightly under the image inducer, pressing his lips together into a thin line. Oh that was not pretty at all. He was very grateful when they started walking again, but could not help but give a passing glance to the fallen soldier. His entire face was a mess and that was sure to hurt. Kurt made a mental note to not upset Wild Child. He quickly perked up again when, a few minutes later, they arrived at the restricted wing of the compound. "Und now the real fun starts, ja?" He asked quietly, fighting the urge to fidget.
