Re: Team 1: Pete, Kurt & Gibs
Kurt took in a tiny gasp of air when he saw the attack, about to spring forward to try and be of aid, when he was literally jerked well off balance. He had been holding onto one of the straps of Wild Child's straight jacket when the feral lunged, and it was a combination of Kurt's control, excellent balance and pure luck that he did not fall on his face or cry out. He so sincerely did not want to be the one to blow this mission, he had spent so very long ill and out of practice, this was his first test since the Legacy, and he was simply determined to prove himself to Wisdom.
"Ach, please calm down!" He whispered to Wild Child when the man stopped moving. He huffed out a small breath as one hand moved over his rapidly beating heart. He allowed himself a moment to recover, then sank a hand into the long hair at the back of Gibney's head, trying to give him a comforting scratch. "All is gute, all is gute," He tried to soothe, watching Wisdom with questioning eyes. "We keep moving, ja?" He asked quietly as he urged Gibney away from the door frame so that Wisdom could step back into the hall.
