Really, taking someone apart wasn't most people's style. Too messy, too personal. Unless you had someone like James who just wasn't quite right at this point. Then dismemberment became a viable option for someone who was just that hard to kill. Of course, if Logan lost it as soon as they saw Creed, it would make using those nifty rounds of his nearly impossible. Yet another problem to consider when they got to it.
