Piotr did his best to hold in his emotions like Havok was. Dressed in a suit and tie, his jaw was set but his eyes gave away the pain within. For most of the service, he stood about as still as a statue. His eyes were locked on the urn, Piotr barely registering the preacher's words. When Alex got up to speak, the big Russian turned his attention to him. He was Gabriel's brother and Piotr knew how it felt to lose a brother as well.
When Alex moved away and others were invited to speak, Piotr stepped forward. He took a moment to make sure he had his emotions in check before speaking. "I...Gabriel Summers was a man I loved with all of my heart. A good man," he paused, trying to get the words to come out. "I would like to...say a prayer. I am sorry I do not know it in English," he murmured. The big man began a simple prayer for the deceased in his native tongue. He was unsure if anyone in attendance understood it but it didn't matter. Gabriel had always told him he liked to hear him speak in Russian so he did not feel bad about no one else understanding.
Once finished, Piotr stepped down and made his way back to where he had been before. Once he got there, he wasn't able to hold back anymore. The tears started to fall.
