Eventually, if you want to continue your Big Rico's pizza habit, you're going to have to come up with your own dough -- and that means a job! Night Vale is a thriving community with several employment opportunities. And if that doesn't cut it, you can also start your own business!

Work for an NPC "Local Business"

This one is easy! Just click he link to the spreadsheet below, read the business descriptions, and drop your character into the business of their choice. All we ask is that you limit your selection to one of your characters per business. Once the employee slots are full, please select a secondary business option. Please note: Some businesses are magical or mysterious in nature, so they require characters with extraordinary/magical abilities.

Work as a Last Resort Housing Assistant

- Once a character has been in the game for two months, and they kind of get the hang of how Night Vale works, they can apply for one of the Five Housing Assistant splots. These characters will be expected to interact with new characters when they arrive and help them get situated. Once Housing assistants open up, there will be a post in the OOC community. When a Housing Assistant quits or leaves Night Vale, and an announcement will be made to seek their replacement. (Once Again, Only one Housing Assistant per player)

Starting Your Own Night Vale Business

Characters can start their own businesses and open them up to Player character employees. To start your own business a character must be in Night Vale for a minimum of three months.

To start your own business, you must fill out the following forum and submit it for mod approval. Once it's approved, your business will be added to the Transplant Business list by a moderator. At that stage, if you wish to write up a more detailed business page for the wtnvreference page, you absolutely can! We will also not be restricting Player-owned businesses to one-character-per-player. (To Work For a Character Started Business you must contact the player who started said business before adding yourself to their employment sheet)
