Rodolphus Lestrange stood nearly six foot tall, although he never gave the impression of being large. In fact, his first impression was almost that of a dainty, fastidious man. But the eyes dispelled that illusion quickly, for they smoldered with an inner fire. And though his movements were graceful - he cut quite the figure on the dance floor, and he was also an excellent pianist - make the mistake of referring to him as feminine and see just how quickly you'd be proven wrong.
Rodolphus was always immaculately dressed, that was a definite quirk of his. It wasn't unusual for him to change clothes several times in a day. Of course, it was hard to maintain such cleanliness after a kill, and his kills did tend to be bloody, but that was an entirely different matter altogether. He'd been killing small animals since he was a child, and had been delighted to find that the same interest in torturing, maiming and killing resided within his best friend and companion, Bellatrix Black, blessing the fates that had made them near neighbors and friends. There was something inside of Bella that sparked something inside of Roddy - and woe betide anywone but her who dared to call him that. He would answer to Rod or Rodolphus, but Roddy was for Bella alone. Not even Rabastan was permitted, much as he loved his little brother.
Roddy and Bella were a perfect fit, and were usually to be found together. They both had the same desire - to become Death Eaters and fight for Lord Voldemort. Once they were shed of Hogwarts and its inanities. No more education. Rudolophus was determined on that point, and his parents made no objection. They were also followers of the Dark Lord, of course. All of the pureblood families were. All the ones that mattered, anyway. The few that held back were unimportant in the scheme of things.
He and Bella were between classes, walking through the halls together. Roddy felt sure that Bella was bored, and he wished to amuse her in some way, but how? Spotting a second or third year heading their way - maybe even a firstie, it was so hard to tell sometimes - he used a wordless spell which caused the unfortunate victim to trip and fall flat on his face. Rodolphus laughed aloud, looking to Bella for her reaction, as always.
