Comment on this post to declare the daily wordcount you are going to be aiming for.

Remember the minimum daily target is just 100 words and there is no upper limit.

You don't have to start on a particular date this is an ongoing challenge.

My personal wordcount target is to write at least 500 words a day because I think I can find half an hour to write every day but I'm a slow typist.

I will also be posting a daily check in thread where we can post our successes and commiserate over our failures. The first of these threads will follow.

This is a community for people who want to commit to writing something fictional everyday. You pick a target daily wordcount and attempt to write at least that number everyday.

The minimum target we will allow will be to write 100 words a day and there is no maximum target, but do try and be realistic.

The words do not all have to be towards the same piece of fiction. You can work on short stories, novels, drabbles and even your worldbuilding notes. Just work on you fiction everyday and then share your success with us.

If members wist to create posts where people can have word wars or which offer prompts to help people break through the dreaded block feel free. :-)

Other than that be polite to each other and use your common sense.

Oh, and get writing. :-)
