Man, flights have not gotten easier at all.

I feel all cramped and sore and stuffy just from a few hours. And I'm sure I smell like recycled air, but god, it's good to be home.

Now I'm just hoping that all my baggage made it back in one piece and I'm not about to open a suitcase with broken everything.

I've got something for you. My brother befriended an elderly witch and she sadly passed earlier this year, she willed a lot of her craft to him, she didn't have family, and we've found a notebook among her things that Hayden wants you to have.

There's a lot in here about healing spells and easing bone pain.

I feel like someone, somewhere, is missing the irony of having a vampire on the front of Sports Illustrated. Thankfully I don't have to do the swimsuit edition, I swear the swimsuit gets smaller every year, I can't imagine that much pale skin on a beach would make sense.

I'm hardly complaining, of course. I just finding immensely amusing.

I'm trying to figure out why, after all these years, when my mother comes to check on me, I still feel like a teenager trying to prove that I can function on my own. She never says anything judgemental, but I just constantly feel like I'm trying to impress her.

Although it's sort of the opposite from most people. She still doesn't think I'm hoarding enough.

I feel like I might need to bake a lot to get through this residual stress.

I really hate all these movies that've warped people's ideas on spirit boards and readings.

Yes, they are dangerous. Yes, there are rules to follow. But for the love of god, you're not about to get possessed or summon Bloody Mary (don't even get me started on her). So now I need to sit back and hope the school board don't hear rumours that I'm doing spirit boards with students.

That would just be new levels of drama I don't need.

FYI, general public, asking someone if there's something wrong with them as a reason for why they are pale in Los Angeles is rude as fuck, and next time I am asked this question, I may commit murder.

I don't care how public it is.

I always get anxious about spring break, and I really shouldn't, because it's over in a flash. Although I'm definitely enjoying the few days I can just unwind. Even if my mother feels the need to help me fill the hours in the days I'm not officially working.

Part of that, unfortunately, is a speed dating event that I supposedly have to go to with my cousin. We're both not crazy about this. I remember what my first dates were like, fiting twenty of them into one night? Yikes.

We've all got those worst first date stories, right? I'm not alone there? Help me out guys, this isn't as bad as I think it's going to be, right?

I'm not saying that I hate St Patrick's day, I'm just saying I could do without St Patrick's day. Especially when neighbours pass out on my lawn on the way home from the bar. I had to hydrate three young men this morning and send them off and I'm sure one of them was wearing odd shoes and another was in a women's hoodie.

There really needs to be far more focus on responsible drinking. Even if I'm sounding like a total old lady right now.
