Scott winced. "Yeah, that would be bad. I really hate that clown." He sighed as he led the way along the halls, checking each door and discovering a laundry room, a mini-kitchen, and a pantry, followed by the final two doors. One led into an office, and Scott nodded, walking in.
"Here we go. Looks like the us who were here are as good at being prepared as we are." He started rifling through the desk, finding very little there until he pulled out a large white letter addressed to 'Any Scott Who May Find This'. "Aha... a clue."
He opened it carefully and read.
Dear Scott,
As i write this, I know that it will seem weird to me, or you, reading it. My predecessor left me one that made me blink quite a lot.
Anyway, here we go. You are stuck on God's World, and yes, it is true. Here, Jean is with another man, and happy, and from the future, at least, my future. Whatever you choose to do, know that. In addition, you have several alternate universe family members here, and they are somewhat crazy, but will always stand by you. Trust them.
And trust Emma. I know, if you are from a time before... mine, you may not, but do so. She is one of the people I treasure most in all the multiverse.
Anyway, I left my wallet here, so if you open it, it should be yours now, and tell you what your job is. Good luck, and I hope all goes well for you.
Oh, Winter Never Wins.

Scott sighed as he read, then handed the letter to Emma. "It's real. It contains code that only I, or an I, would know."
He took out the wallet there and looked inside, finding I.D. cards, and a bank card, and a couple of cards that made him raise his eyebrows.
"Apparently here I run the Summers Foundation, an organization for the finding of lost things." He eyed it. "Odd."
