hello everyone! i thought i'd throw this up before dropping off to bed. i'm bringing in alecto carrow, pureblood-snob who desperately tries to hide the fact that she's a straight up narrsisstic psychopath. her parents are well off, her father's in the ministry (not sure what dept yet, if you have any ideas i'd love to hear'em!) and her mother is homemaker. i'm searching for her twin brother for sibling bonding and mudblood torture times, just putting that out there!
for alecto, she was in the same year as the marauders and more than likely despised them. she's a snob to anyone who isn't from her house and if you're a muggle-- yeaaaah. better not to mention that, because alecto hates them even more than blood traitors. to her, there is no lower life form. she's in the voldemort fanclub and every little thing he does is magic. she has no job atm, so she's pretty much a socialite who lives off her parents and has no qualms with it. she figures she'll wait until the war is over and the death eaters run shit, then she won't ever need a job! until then, she has her work cut out for her trying to be voldemort's most loyal and adoring follower.
i'd love lines with all of you! if you're a de then she's probably cool with you. unless you're standing in the way of getting what she wants. then she doesn't gaf what you're alignment is. but i'd love to find some other de socialite types for her to hang around and drink/judge people with. also some murderous types to help bring out her crazy. oh! she's cousins with conor ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) carrowc, too! some enemies would also be rad. maybe girls from her year that are now order aligned and don't trust her? i'm game for anything.

hi everyone! i'm super excited about potentially joining you all so let me introduce isla starke. she's a 28 year old former ravenclaw, order member, and reporter for the daily prophet. she's muggleborn and her parents are blue collar, hard working types who were very perplexed about their daughter's witchiness but supportive nonetheless as they always knew, albeit deep down, that she was destined for more than their industrial little town. she spent her first few years at hogwarts kinda hanging back and blending in the background until she finally blossomed, became more confident in her abilities, and finally felt like she fit in... thus transforming her into a very capable witch with a penchant for talking people's ears off and wanting to know the nitty gritty details of all the things, which made her an excellent candidate for the daily prophet! once she's interested/invested in a story, she doesn't know when to stop because she just has to satiate her need for finding the truth. in a nutshell, she's outgoing, a little quirky, and very much dedicated to her job and the order.
line wise, she has an ex in pureblood loving donott and they've been broken up for about a month after a very secret, well hidden, whirlwind of a romance. philius is a friend and coworker and she thinks her good old pal sybillt should be taken more seriously. i'd love to establish lines, connections, plots, etc with all of you! people she's interviewed or harassed for the prophet, a serious ex, flings, drinking buddies (that she still harasses for info), someone she's coerced into looking for her friend aka the npc muggleborn that the lestrange family are currently "entertaining", connections with order members, everything! thanks!
