It was a precarious situation for all parties involved, but completely necessary in the name of science. Or at least thought Robert and Rosalind. They were willing to traverse any sort of situation for their research, and paranormal activities were not the exception. They did, however, try to stay safe if things became dicey. And they certainly did at the hospital. Rosalind let Hook go through the portal first, her hand gripped onto his as she followed him through. It was not a tumble through some odd portal that would roughly deposit you on the other end. It was rather nice and neat, and hardly dangerous at all (unless of course you were caught in between when the portal closed, and it would slice off whatever had not crossed to the other side).
She did stumble a bit once they crossed through only because they had been rushed from the hospital. Rosalind was slightly out of breath, and apart from bruises and a few cuts she and Killian were fine. Rosalind looked through the portal, and she could see the bits and pieces of debris flying on the other side. A few pieces flew through the portal, but she effectively dodged them as they landed and bounced on the ground behind her and Killian.
Rosalind wondered when Robert would come through, but before she knew what was happened the portal closed in front of her eyes.
"Well that was unexpected," she said without much emotion, though her heart was racing with worry. Why hadn't Robert traveled through the portal? Did something stop him? Rosalind glanced over at Killian, brow furrowed deeply.
"I... I'm sure he's fine," she said blandly as she was trying to suppress the emotion she was feeling. "It is possible that he's not, but Robert is resourceful. He is me, after all. He'll return in no time, I'm sure."
