Rosalind did not often speak regarding her less-than-scientific thoughts, but if she had she would have told Killian to be careful. The last thing the woman wanted was for their charming roommate to be hurt, or even killed. Though she was not often overcome with fear, there was a slight bit of trepidation that gripped her heart. Perhaps it was all of the warnings their fellow residents gave them prior to their trip to the hospital. Rosalind believed that they were prepared, and as such there was no need for worry at all.
The pirate's question was insightful, and even Robert himself wondered if the physics of Marrowood would interfere with the tear they created in some way. would it allow creatures such as the Slender Man that was mentioned a way to travel to other universes, or would more Slender Men come through to their dreary town? Robert did not know, but he was prepared to answer regardless. "While tears are bidirectional one would have to know it was there in order to utilize it. Usually Rosalind and I have found that most are unaware that it is even there until it is too late."
But if he could hear Killian's thoughts he would have agreed. Portals were dangerous - it was the creation of their Lutece Tear that caused the trouble with DeWitt in the first place. A part of him wondered if it should have never been created, but if it had not then he would have never been able to meet his "sister". Before he knew it, however, Killian was opening the front door.
"Do be careful not to get killed," she said as she gathered the equipment in her arms. It was as close as she could get at the moment to showing any sort of concern. She moved to stand close behind Killian, and then glanced over her shoulder at her brother. She was excited for the opportunity to test their equipment, and she was certain it would work once they were inside. Maybe they would not get any supplies out of their mission, but they would have gained valuable knowledge, and that was more than enough for Rosalind and Robert Lutece.
