The woman stopped in her tracks, and turned quickly to face Killian. Old? Yes he might have been "old" by technical standards, but because of magic he had barely aged. She knew he was joking, but a part of her yearned to retort, and so she did. "I doubt very much that you are slow, Killian," Rosalind said to him. "I am of the mind that you are purposefully staying behind me." She smirked at him, but then caught a curious glance from her brother. She looked away awkwardly and continued to get closer to the hospital.
Robert eyed Killian afterward. He was curious as to what it was going on between his sister and the pirate. He was not savvy on the finer arts of flirtation, but he was fairly certain that Killian was engaging in it with his sister. And when did his sister start acting so... out of character? This was strange indeed. He thought to himself that it was a possibility that Marrowood was changing his sister, and if that were true then was he changing as well?
But then his focus turned back to the task at hand. Their devices were detecting high amounts of electromagnetic energy in the direction of the hospital. This would be the best place to test their device, he was sure of it. But a part of him worried about the dangers that they had been warned about.
"Let's try the courtyard, first," Rosalind said when they reached the area just outside the front door. She set down the bag she was carrying, and then reached for the bag that Robert had. "Hurry hurry," she said anxiously. "We must not waste time that we do, and yet do not, have."
