Is a better home awaiting? WHO: The Luteces & Pinkie Pie WHERE: Sonheim Square WHEN: Wednesday, 23 July, Mid-morning WHAT: Gathering evidence/exploration/and finding a place to work WARNINGS: None that I can think of, will update if anything does happen. STATUS: Completed
The Sleepy Hollow was definitely not a place for the Luteces to stay for an extended period of time. The instructions they received were very clear: check out at 11, do not bleed on the towels. It was a simple enough request, and the last thing the twins wanted was to create variables they had no control over. Who knew the consequences of not complying, or if they stayed at the inn for longer than they were welcome? Rosalind Lutece wanted to risk it; Robert, however, did not.
They were in a strange place, with strange people, and the first thing (he believed) they needed was to orient themselves. Find a place where they could gather research, and conduct experiments. Perhaps they could meet the citizens of the town, or other "tourists" caught in the same fabric of time and space that they were. Trapped was the word heard in faint whispers amongst those they passed in the street as they headed toward Sonheim Square. A resident at the Sleepy Hollow had suggested that would be a good place to find a space to operate as a headquarters of sorts.
Robert buttoned his jacket over his midsection as they walked. "There is a heavy air here, sister," he said in an even tone.
Rosalind held her hands primly, one over the other in front of her waist, and nodded sternly. "Indeed, brother. A theory," she stopped walking and faced her brother. "The convergence of realities upon his place has changed the composition of the air."
"Yet we are able to breathe it without difficulty," Robert offered as a counter. "Another theory: Perhaps the convergence influences the electromagnetic energies already present in this place. Perhaps we can use that to our advantage to create new Tears."
Rosalind nodded, "Agreed. However, a suitable building must first be found."
Sonheim Square was more active than they imagined, but if any building space was to be found it would be there. It was simply a matter of finding it.
