It was rare he was in the mood to answer questions about his life to strangers, even dog loving strangers. Hawke had enough of fame to last him several lifetimes. Perhaps one day he'd feel comfortable enough answering the numerous questions this young man undoubtably had but until then it would be shallow answers and quips. "Yes, he's my best friend. A finer dwarf you'll never meet." But his whole found family from Kirkwall were all still very important to him.
"I suppose it depends on how you qualify quiet. Before I moved to Kirkwall it could be said my life was quiet. I was a farmer's son though he was a mage and thus it was never truly safe." Hawke rubbed his fingers through his beard for a moment as he tried to think of a time in his life that might qualify as quiet. "But even when I was not fighting or helping people I was always looking over my shoulder for Templars and wouldn't say that was quiet. Does that sound quiet to you?"
