That smile was unfair. The more she smiled at him, the more he just wanted to keep her smiling. It made his insides feel all warm and fuzzy. It was a nice change from the awkward creepiness that the town made him feel. It was a reprieve, honestly. A safe haven in the mess that was the town.
He nodded. "Yeah," he murmured. The goosebumps rose quickly and he bit his lower lip briefly, his hand moving up to brush over her dimpled cheek. "Since the first time I saw those dimples," he admitted. There wasn't a point in pretending that he hadn't wanted to this whole time.
