Let me start by thanking you for arranging my return to Hogwarts over the Christmas break. I can't imagine how I would have made it back here were it not for that Portkey.

My parents are doing well; at least, I believe that as they have no contact with the magical world except through me, they should be fine.

But I do have a problem - one of my good friends growing up is in hospital after being hit by a drunk lorry driver. I haven't had an update since this morning, and even that was not much information. I know it would be difficult for me to visit him under the best circumstances, let alone our present situation.

What I mean to ask is, is there anything I or we can do to let me see how Jackie's doing? Please, Headmistress, anything would help.
