Headmistress McGonagall,

First, allow me to again express my condolences for your loss and Hogwart's loss. It was a lovely ceremony and I was honored to attend. The late headmaster will be missed greatly. He made a great impression upon me, when I attended Hogwarts that year of the Tri-Wizard Tournament, and the memories I have of Hogwarts are much cherished.

I wanted to speak with you, but I thought it best to do so at another time, or perhaps in person? I am currently on a medical leave from my profession, but my need to stay in touch with the Quidditch game is great and I would like to offer your school my services. Perhaps I could come to the school as a volunteer coach for the four teams? Please, Headmistress, you would be doing me more of a kindness, to let me instruct your students.

I am currently working at the Ministry, in the Department of Magical Transportation should you need to contact me further. I look forward to your decision.

Mr Krum,

I appreciate your heartfelt letter. I am, however, wary of allowing a representative of the Ministry onto my grounds when I can stop them. I am sure you appreciate the reasons for this.

I will meet you in Hogsmeade, in the upper room of the Three Broomsticks, if you've something you wish to discuss. I am sure some agreement could be reached, obviously our Quidditch teams would be thrilled.

Of course, I am an idiot for not realizing your reservations. Please, rest assured, while I am currently employed by the Ministry, I do not prescribe to many of their current decisions. This is a very different place to work than I originally anticipated, and while the work I do is interesting, the company I keep can be less than favorable.

Would perhaps Sunday be the best day for you to meet? I can share some ideas I have, to help give the Quidditch players more access to strategies and broom techniques.

P.S. I suppose you are already well fortified against unwelcome intruders, but if you need perhaps additional defenses with your Floo system, I would be happy to arrange such hexes and charms be placed on your network doors.
