Game In Review: September 6 - September 18, 1997 (2009)
For having so many people on hiatus these last two weeks, we've sure gotten a lot going! It wasn't only because of scene lotteries, though that does seem like it caused some hilarious threads!
Game In Review: September 6 - September 18, 1997 (2009)
September 6: Around the castle, students and professors are still settling in and responding to being back at school. Some are pleased, others are less than pleased. Ginny and Sam catch up on the Quidditch Pitch. Meanwhile, Vaisey's parents are interested in social climbing, and Nik and Daphne are not pleased at the results. Elsewhere in the castle, Audrina and Alfie have a sticky run in with Peeves. OOC: The first scene lotteries are assigned and the first Pro Quidditch scores come in.
September 7: While some offer sympathies to students, Snape and Charlie disagree about student treatment. There is also some sort of secret in the 6th year Gryffindor Girls Dorm that leaves some concerned and some confused. Meanwhile, Hermione and Lisa have a strange argument in the hallway, and Daphne has not yet recovered from her owl from home.
September 8: Lucius is allowed in to the Ministry to retrieve a family heirloom. At Hogwarts, Lisa is still angry at Hermione, but is looking for a Charms tutor as well.
September 9: George gets a new girlfriend, but Meghan saves him.
September 10: Students discover that the Magpies Rule! Looking for his dead master, a forgotten Fang gets into the castle, and in related news the Giant Squid attempts to make friends with the wrong girl.
September 11: Draco accosts the former Minister's daughter on the Quidditch Pitch, just after she'd suggested a party for House Unity to the new Headmistress. Later, Evie complains about the run-in to Alfie, who still stinks. Daphne reacts to her run-in with the squid badly, with good cause. Meanwhile, Tonks needs some help from Head Girl Padma and Greg Goyle wonders about journal security.
September 12: Students seem to be settling back in to the Hogwarts routine. Lisa continues to look for a tutor, but her and Evie's Party idea has been approved, and begins to be advertised.
September 13: Alfie finds Julien asleep in the library and they waste some time playing cards. In the journals, everyone seems to have an opinion about the upcoming House Unity party, and Ernie is wondering about a DA meeting now that school has resumed. On the more obvious side of things, Slytherins are sarcastic. Meanwhile, Fred runs into Percy and manages to have a conversation with him before going home to tell George about it, while Lucius reflects on the state of the world.
September 14: Dates and plans are being made for the House Unity party. In other news, Angelina finally forgives the twins for not telling her about the Order, and Alicia has begun Auror training. Lucjily, no Aurors have come for Bill for defending his wedding. At Hogwarts, Daphne and Nik finally meet to discuss their new situation, and Goyle reflects on things that are strange this year.
September 15: The usual school frustrations abound for students who are now fully settled in at Hogwarts, but the upcoming House Unity party is giving students something else to focus on. Meanwhile, Katie is both getting and giving of relationship advice, while Adrian is missing things while on assignment, and Percy responds in the journals to conversations he's had recently with his brothers.
September 16: Evie looks for advice about her newest feelings. Meanwhile, the DA starts to talk as Ginny tries to set up a meeting and both Harry and Luna begin to rally them. Elsewhere, Goyle and Evie wind up in the kitchens together. Later, Harry and Draco are both looking for the Vanishing Cabinet, though likely for different reasons.
September 17: Penny is now a fully-fledged Obliviator and Cormac chooses dates who compliment his ensemble. At Hogwarts, students are still talking about, making fun of, and making plans for the upcoming party. Bored, Ginny and Sam charm the Slytherin benches in the Great Hall but are caught later sneaking back to their rooms.
September 18: In the morning, Slytherins are glued to their seats in the Great Hall and have to be freed with a magical solvent. Ginny is amused. In other news, it is almost the Cattermole twins' birthday.
