Fred showed up just as the last customers were leaving. He'd tried again to get George to take the girls out, or just to get out and get shagged at all, but eventually he'd left him to his lurking hag - she had pink ribbons in her hair today, he'd noticed - and headed to Hogsmeade.

He leaned against the counter as Madge, Midge, whatever her name was rang up the last girls buying their WonderWitch love potions. "Where's Verity?" he asked, and she ignored him in favor of actually doing her job. ... Which meant he asked her over and over again, until her face was red and the customers were leaving. She was just turning to yell at him, and he was smirking, when he caught sight of Verity and ignored Midge completely.

Verity had slipped down the stairs a few moments before the store was due to close. Mags was able to handle most of the day to day business, she was good enough that Verity didn't feel bad at all about leaving her alone to go upstairs and get ready for Fred. She'd never been in a relationship before on Valentine's Day, for whatever reason, that had always been a Single day for her and she wasn't quite sure what to expect.

She'd brought several changes of clothing and had tried multiple variations. It was hard, all this girly stuff. She didn't want to be overdressed, but at the same time, she didn't want Fred to be unimpressed. After entirely too much indecision, she settled on a short black skirt and a low cut red top. She debated for a few moments on whether red was too cliché, but decided to keep it, forgoing a bra and Merlin that she was poorly endowed enough that she could do so without looking like a total slag.

Grabbing her bag, she waved her wand, her clothes folding themselves into a neat pile. Grabbing her heels, she tapped them, charming them to match her shirt before making her way downstairs and grinning silently to herself as she watched Fred harass Mags.

"Hey," she mouthed, waving at him across the store when he finally noticed her.

Fred's eyes had been on her from the moment he saw her coming down the stairs, and why would they be anywhere else? Her legs went to bloody China, and that shirt was low cut enough that he already wanted to strip it off of her.

"Hey," He answered, then he whistled in appreciation. He felt a little underdressed - black slacks and a loudly bright purple dress shirt that clashed horribly with his hair. But then again, he was fairly sure she was used to the way he dressed.

	Although she supposed she should've made some snarky comment at his whistle, Verity couldn't keep the smile off her face. "I knew red was a good choice," she grinned, inanely, crossing the store and slipping her hands around his waist. "A very good one," Fred answered, still staring - he went a little crosseyed staring, actually, as she came up close to him. He grinned, though, blinking it away and kissing her back whens he leaned up to him, his arms slipping around her waist.

He still wasn't quite sure how he'd ended up with her, he was pretty sure it had been an accident, and of course there was the rule breaking, but it was pretty good to have someone that fit he could touch whenever he wanted to.

"So," he said when he let her go. "Dinner?"

Behind the register, Mags was good-naturedly pretending to throw up while counting out the till and Verity grinned at her, making a show of squeezing Fred's arse. 	"What are those?" Fred hated to admit that he hadn't made them, actually. That even with buying a gift for his sister for it, he hadn't really remembered that he had to do something for it too. Shaking her head, Verity smiled. "You're lucky I'm easy," she responded, not even attempting to correct what she'd said. "We can just get takeaway and come back here, if you like?" Even though she'd never had a real Valentine's Day before, with a dimly lit restaurant and chocolate covered strawberries and all the clichés, she didn't quite mind. All that stuff wasn't really her, it wasn't them. They could make their own romance.

	Fred's obviously relieved look showed pretty damn clearly that he was glad she'd said that - he wasn't the type for sitting in stuffy restaurants pretending to care why the tiny tiny food all sounded French. 	Fred had been too busy trying to get at her underwear to worry about her shirt, until she arched against him like that and he got a hint, reaching to pull that off instead, as long as she was helping. "It's not like I could exactly come down here naked," arching her back, she raised off the counter slightly, reaching up under her skirt and hooking her fingers into the waistband of her knickers. "Although I'm sure some of those customers would've liked to see that." She had to remove her legs from around his waist in order to get her underwear off, wriggling until they dropped down on the floor by his feet.

It had to be easier for her, too, right, to get the damn things off. There was something about it, though. If they were doing this on the counter in the bloody shop, he wanted her completely naked, and he slid an arm around her waist and picked her up enough off the counter that he could pull that off of her legs, too. 'You could, remind me to tell you about the new uniform idea."

He wasn't sure how he was supposed to carry on a conversation with her pulling him into her that way, but he groaned and his head fell back a little and he rocked his hips to dig just that much deeper into her, burying himself before he started to move, thumb still working against her - and he tried. "Forget the rest, then, just he sodding heels." He wasn't really sure what they'd been talking about, but he'd picked up the word stripper.
