Lucy almost immediately rolled her eyes. Such statements were arbitrary considering her luck with boys wasn't what she would say was parallel to Roger's luck with girls. She put her hands on her hips as she cocked her head to the side. "That is one thing you'll not have to worry about-"
But before she could spin another tale of self-deprecation, Roger had poked at her side causing her to jump in reaction. She swatted again at his hand again.
"Goodbye, Roger," she told him, eying him in her attempt to scold. But she gave up and smiled at him instead.
