Not fully understanding why Daphne had decided to run between names of what to call muggles with him at that moment. He did, however, realize rather quickly that it did seem odd coming from the female. Blaise's facial expression seemed to want to ask a couple of questions to that single sentence, but he wasn't sure where to start. Maybe it was best to let it go and just agree with her. "I suppose that you're correct in your thoughts, love. However, I'm sure that you don't mind insulting a few species of animals, right?" he asked, raising his eyebrows slightly. He was indeed referring to an animal that she had a run in a couple of months back. It really did bother him sometimes when thoughts of the event crossed his mind, which was mostly due to the fact that she allowed a mudblood touch her delicate skin. That was something that he wouldn't understand either, but it was for the best that Blaise didn't make reference to that situation.
As Blaise's lips came in contact with Daphne's fair skin, he knew exactly what was going to go through her mind. The person that he was the closest to for quite a while was predictable at times towards the male. He knew that she was going to glance around the common room instantly the second that he was close to her body. At least the book that was within her hands moments ago had completely disappeared from her mind for the time being. That was what mattered. He also couldn't forget about dancing around the actual wording of apology. It was going good with that thus far.
Even though he had never spoken about any attraction towards the female before him, that wasn't something he denied to himself. Blaise know how he was with relationships. There was a great amount of sexual tension between them at times, which of course he liked when the end result finally arrived; however, there were times that he honestly worried about hurting her. Blaise wasn't exactly boyfriend material. Long-term relationships weren't for him. That was a fact that he had knowledge of for a good while. None of that really mattered though. Daphne wouldn't exactly want to be with him in that sort of way. She never made any inklination towards it either. Besides, Blaise enjoyed exactly what they had and she did as well. Why would any of them want to change that?
As the male's lips followed along Daphne's neck, he felt the urge to move closer towards her body. Her voice came in clear at that point, as a smirk of his own spread across his lips. Blaise wasn't one to speak a whole lot. Words weren't much for him. When he did decide to open his mouth, it usually was the correct words to say. "You know how I am, love," he replied, feeling her lips against his own for a fraction of a second. Just as Daphne's lips pressed against his ear, Blaise allowed his hand to follow up slightly upon her nearest thigh, lips pressed against her shoulder lightly. "Only if you accept." As long as he didn't have to utter the words of apology, that was what he wanted. It almost seemed as though as he'd recieve exactly what he wanted.
