Who: Blaise Zabini and Daphne Greengrass
What: An apology
Where: Slytherin Common Room
When: Evening
Rating/Warning: Hrm...Let's go with PG-13 for now. I'll change it if need be.
There weren't a lot of times that Blaise actually felt bad for the way he reacted to things, especially with the majority of people around him. He wasn't particularly kind to his mum either, mostly because she always galvanted around magical areas finding an old, filthy rich wizard to marry within a couple of weeks. It was always the same with them no matter what the situation might have contained, even though he was mostly a good son around her. That was besides the point. The male had actually felt bad for writing a note a few days ago to Daphne. He wasn't sure why, but he had expected the woman to not return to Hogwarts early because of the amusing events that had occured just before the New Year.
Their plans were ruined those last few days and even though they basically had planned what would occur to bring in the new year, Blaise had really only wanted to spend some time with Daphne. Sure, they acted on things that were more then borderline things to do with a friend and they had fun doing such actions, of course, but the male had merely wanted to spend time alone with her. They always had someone around them, whether it be in the common room or one of their many places. It just seemed as that was the case though, at least in his perspective.
Usually one to feel too proud to exactly let an apology come out of his mouth, it would be slightly difficult for him to accomplish such a task, but it had to be done. The two hadn't spoken in a couple of days, which felt too weird for Blaise's liking. Daphne was among the small group of others that the male actually could stand. Heck, they had even met each other's parental units. Not alot of other students could say that about their friends within the building. He just wanted everything to go back to the way they were as easily as possible. Of course, that might not be quite too easy, especially withing the female's case. If Blaise knew her well enough, she'd play it for all it's worth to hear a full apology come straight out of his mouth. Dancing around the words never really came that easily, unless the male wanted something in return.
It had took quite a bit of time to search out for the female. He had asked a few female slytherins to see if Daphne had disappeared into her dorm room or asked if she had ventured off elsewhere. Blaise had checked the usual hang outs, twice to be techincal, before heading back towards the common room, sitting down rather comfortable on the couch. She would eventually have to end up returning there, right? Of course, she had to come down for classes or enter to return to her dorm. Then, he would practically pounce against the female, so he could muster up an apology, or at least dance around those exact words. He was hoping for the latter though.
