"Oh?" Daphne said with an icy passiveness, she didn't want to seem too interested in him. After all, she was supposed to be mad at him. Or at least frustrated. "Whatever were seeking me out for? Decided having a row over journals wasn't enough and wanted to tell me in person how thoughtless I was?" There was a bite in her words, as she realized exactly how offended she was. Her words intended to dig into him as bitter venom practically seethed through. It all dawned on her rather quickly about how upset she was, it was not longer for the fact that she had to go back to Hogwarts. Now, it was because he actually thought that she was being thoughtless. She tried to explain to him before that this was all her parents doing. She hardly had time to crack open her journal until she was situated on the train and heading back to Hogwarts. Why was he mad at her? For no bloody reason!
"Perhaps you just weren't looking hard enough." She replied rather bluntly. Sapphire blue gaze continued scanning over the pages of the book, as she attempted to seem more interested in the book than talking to Blaise. Though, that act was growing difficult as she continued to give Blaise that cold, nonchalant attitude. Daphne knew that it wasn't smart to ostracize one of her two only friends, but her stubbornness couldn't help but keep that grudge.
When he finally mentioned her being interested in the book, blue gaze lifted from the page which she currently read about five times. Focusing her stare on him, a finely sculpted brow arched up. "It's fascinating," Lie. "Muggles are intriguing creatures." Save. Don't refer to them as humans, refer to them as animals.
Daphne's interest in muggles was really more of a curiosity. After talking to Dean about muggle items, her interest had been piqued. Their lives seemed so dull, and manual. Everything had to be done by hand, even things that couldn't be done hand, they built machines to with their hands to do things. It was so difficult, and confusing, and the allure that magic held in the wizarding world was completely forgotten about in the muggle world. It made no sense.
